It's Tea Time!

Today, thanks to ArtsyMama’s lovely initiative, we are having an International Tea Party.

I am very glad to participate, although modestly, in this great event.

I have always wanted to make a cross stitched cottage tea cosy. Unfortunately, I have not been able to materialize this dream, mainly because I have not yet found a suitable pattern (or at least one that pleased me).

Meanwhile, I have browsed the internet and gathered a few other patterns, ranging from plain to more sophisticated, or from practical to more extravagant. I have even found a knitted cottage tea cosy!

And, last but not least, the knitted cottage tea cosy that I mentioned earlier:

I hope that a lot of people from all over the world will join us and look forward to "meeting" them.

This tea party is wonderful. I'm meeting so many interesting people.

I, too, want to make a tea cozy. I think I'll end up making a quilted one, but I haven't yet decided what I want it to look like.
